  • Image-based backups: Each backup is a fully constructed virtual machine that can be booted up almost instantly from the SIRIS device or from the Datto Cloud.
  • Backup at 5-minute intervals: Datto’s Inverse Chain Technology eliminates the dependence on previous snapshots, allowing for more granular backups (as often as every five minutes), without having to reconstruct the backup.
